BAXTER -- Baxter City Council members Tuesday approved the final plats of two subdivisions in the city.
The final plats for the First Addition to Wildflower, developed by Navillus Land Company, and Ironwood Meadows, developed by council member Craig MacDonald, were approved. MacDonald abstained from voting.
In other city action, the city accepted a bid for $14,000 from Holden Electric to install lighting for the water tower along Highway 210.
The city adopted a resolution to approve the Baxter Industrial Park plans and specifications and to submit it to EDA for approval.
The city accepted a trail grant and agreement to match funds for the Parkwood Neighborhood to Highway 210 and for County Road 48 to the Baxter soccer fields.
The council directed city staffers to find out how much it would cost to have an aerial picture taken of the city, complete with the new Highway 371 bypass, to be displayed in Baxter City Hall.
