Heather and Michael Hurley
Heather Kyung Pekarek and Michael John Hurley were united in marriage at the Church of Guardian Angels in Oakdale, Minn., on June 6, 2009.
Parents of the couple are Ken Pekarek, Maplewood, Cheryl Holmes, East Bethel, and John and Sharon Hurley, Baxter. Attendants were Laura Lanik and Keith Hurley. Flower girl was Georgia Lanik, and ushers were Randall Kurtz and David Pekarek. The bride graduated from Woodbury High School and St. Catherine University and is employed as a registered nurse at Children's Hospitals and Clinic of Minnesota. The groom graduated from Brainerd High School and the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is a manager at Fantasy Flight Games, Roseville. The couple is making their home in Oakdale, Minn.
