Swanville woman dies in vehicle crash

SWANVILLE - A 67-year-old Swanville woman died Thursday after the vehicle she was driving ran off the road on 30th Avenue, south of Badger Creek Road in Swanville Township.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Department reported Lonnie Guthrie was pronounced dead at the scene. It was reported that the Dodge truck Guthrie was driving with a trailer ran off the right side of the road onto the shoulder, then veered to the opposite shoulder, then back onto the roadway and rolled onto its top, coming to a final rest. Guthrie was ejected.
