What's doing

All friends, family and property owners on Big and Little Pelican Lakes are invited to Pelican Lake Appreciation Day for a family beach party and fundraiser from 3-7 p.m. Saturday at 30021 CR 3 (at the big stone arch in the Velvet Beach area). The PLPOA annual meeting will be at 3 p.m. In case of rain, refreshments, food and the annual meeting will be from 3-7 p.m. at Mission Town Hall. Hosts: Kathy and Jim Strampe and Kelly and Scott Anderson.

Brats, hotdogs, beer, pop mixers and popcorn will be complimentary. Bring your own alcohol and folding chairs.

There will be limited parking on CR 3 so come by boat if you can.

Legion steak fry

Ironton Legion will be having a steak fry from 5-8 p.m. Friday. Dance to Frank Gust "Wiskers" from 7-11 p.m.
