Roy A. Luukkonen, Crow Wing County auditor, reminds those residents who are not registered to vote, or those who have changed residences since the last election, that Aug. 24 is the last day to register in advance for the primary election to be held Sept. 14. Pre-register by going to his office on the second floor of the courthouse from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you do not register by 5 p.m. Aug. 24, you may register at the polls on Election Day but must furnish proof of residence.
