Muriel (Skoog) Harris

Muriel (Skoog) Harris, 88, passed away on Aug. 10, 2008. She was born on Dec. 8, 1921, to Myer and Nora Skoog. Muriel graduated from Brainerd High School in 1939. She moved to California, then back to Brainerd and ended up settling in the Twin Cities area.
Survived by brothers, Myer "Whitey" Skoog, of St. Peter, Byron Skoog, of Forest Lake, Rodney (Sandy) Skoog, of Forest Lake; sisters, Claryce (Curt) Johnson, of Anoka, and Ardyth (Gary) Quarnstrom, of Monticello.
Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clinton and Ronald.
Services for Muriel will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. with reviewal one hour prior and lunch following the service at the Elim Baptist Church in Anoka. Burial will be in Bloomington, Minn., at 2 p.m.
