I would like to thank the Crow Wing County Fair and all of the supporters of the Military Appreciation Night at the fair. The evening was well planned out and a true salute to soldiers and their families. The night was very fun for our whole family.

For the fourth year in a row, 200-plus Brainerd northsiders gathered in Gregory Park for National Night Out. It was a huge success and would not have been possible without the support of the following businesses: Target Corporation, Country Hearth Breads, Super One Foods, The Last Turn Saloon, CoCo Moon, Cub Foods, Diane Saumner and Friends, Downtown Art and Frame, and Brainerd Mobil. We'd also like to thank the following neighbors for their financial contributions: Dr. and Mrs. Roland Kehr, Dr. and Mrs. Dave Boran, Chad Schwendeman, and Tom and Amy Hofius. Lastly, thanks to all the local law enforcement for their presence.

I would like to thank the following people who generously gave their time and talents to help make the Kinship "Blueprints" summer program a success. Thank you to Jeff at Architecture One, Kari, Nikki and Bryan at Bremer Bank, Ken and Dan at the radio station, Bob, a volunteer at the Arboretum, Jean and Lori at Kinship, Brad and Dave at Minnesota T's, Char at SJMC Focus Unit and Chuck at the YMCA.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. Brainerd individuals and businesses truly make a difference in the lives of the Kinship kids as they continue to support them.
Kudos to Cub Foods
Recently we participated in two benefits -- the Cal Ripken Midwest Regional Baseball Tournament picnic and Lutheran Church of the Cross Mission Possible. In both events, Cub Foods was a contributor to help the cause. A big thank you to Cub Foods for being a strong community supporter -- we appreciate your help.
