Editor's note on This was Brainerd

In last week's This Was Brainerd account of an incident that took place in August of 1979, the Dispatch recounted how Sherman Gibbons was convicted of second degree murder. Two years later the case was appealed, the charge was reduced to accidental manslaughter and Gibbons was released.
