Every summer when the girls get together at Chuck's cabin for girls weekend it always brings forth a funtime together. Last weekend when we celebrated our girls weekend, we swam, we went for pontoon rides, had many good laughs and enjoyed many good flavors.

Firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a cut gas line at 6:58 p.m. Thursday on Timberlane Drive in Baxter. Firefighters remained on the scene as a safety precaution while a crew from Xcel Energy fixed the broken line.
