UPSALA -- Marilyn "Marlee" Holmen, 74, lifelong resident of Upsala, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at her home after a prolonged battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Funeral services will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Upsala on Monday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m. Friends may call at Gethsemane from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15, and from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the "Walk to D'Feet ALS" Sept. 18, 2004, ALS Association of Minnesota (ALSA). Memorials may be sent to Bob Homen, P.O. Box 276, Upsala, MN 56384.
