What's doing

The Pinetree Patchworkers will hold their annual picnic at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Baptist Church in Baxter. Bring a dish to pass and a wrapped white elephant for the games, also a pencil. The morning group will meet at the Presbyterian Church in Brainerd at 9 a.m. Aug. 21.

Senior dance

There will be a senior dance at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brainerd Legion. Music by Gary Martin.

Nokay Lake School reunion

Women of the Moose will have a salad luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday. Cost: $3.75.

Crosslake Garden Club

The Crosslake Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Crosslake Community Center. From there we will go to Ralph Keltgens gladiolus garden. He will be the presenter and topic is gladiolus.

Firearm safety training at Emily Charter school

Nisswa American Legion activities

Nisswa Women's Club presents "Just For Kix"

The Nisswa Women's Club will meet Thursday at the Grand View Lodge. Cindy Clough will present the program "Just For Kix" with help from the Golden Kix dancers. Some of the Golden Kix dancers are members. Hostesses are Berniece Hinkie, chair; Betty Hyde, Beanie Eyman, M.J. Cote and Sandra Mills.
