CROSBY -- Katherine "Kata" Scull, Crosby, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
She was born in Crosby to George and Katie Krinovich. She married Tony Scull on Dec. 31, 1954, in Brainerd. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby and was the parish secretary. She was a member of the National Society of Catholic Foresters, St. Mary's Court 854, American Legion Auxiliaries in Ironton, Aitkin and Brainerd. She was also a member of the Eagles, Elks and Moose Lodge auxiliaries in Brainerd.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom Scull, Crosby; a daughter, Dana Jessen, Pequot Lakes; a brother, Dan Krinovich, Fruitland Park, Fla.; four sisters, Ann Larson, St. Paul, Mary Stone, Calhan, Fla., Mayme Martin, Brainerd, and Rose Strom, Deerwood; and seven grandchildren.
Her parents died earlier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby with Father Howard Eisel officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
