Joanne Sedlock

RENO, Nev. -- Joanne Sedlock, formerly Joanne Vanni, passed away Friday, June 27, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, Nev., after a long bout with cancer. She was a 1946 graduate of Washington High School in Brainerd. In 1949 she married Robert Sedlock of Brainerd and they spent most of their next 20 years in Alaska where they were in business. After their divorce Joanne lived in California and more recently Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vivian Vanni of Brainerd, an adopted son, Scott, and a brother, John. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Memorial services presided by John Ashmun will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. Friends are asked to enter the cemetery at the Third Avenue gate.
