Joseph G. Lang

FISH TRAP LAKE -- Joseph G. Lang, devoted dad and grandpa, age 73, of Fish Trap Lake, formerly of St. Paul, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn. Joseph was born Jan. 29, 1930, in St. Paul, son of John and Ora (Markfelder) Lang. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, Aug. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Catholic Church, 1327 Lafond Ave., St. Paul. Burial will follow at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

He will be truly missed by those that knew and love him including his: two sons, Michael Lang of Sartell, and Dennis Lang of Vadnais Heights; four daughters, Mary Richgels and Julie Richgels, both of Little Falls, Minn., Katie Adam of Oakdale, Minn., and Teresa Lang-Maestas of St. Paul Park, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and one brother, John Lang of Faribault. His parents and wife Patricia in January of 2000 preceded him in death.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, from 4-6 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Holcumb-Henry-Boom North Chapel, 515 County Rd. 96, Shoreview, Minn. Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Good Counsel Home, 2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul, 55104. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall.
