BAXTER -- Crews will complete aggregate shoulder work on Highway 371 between Nisswa and Pine River starting Monday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed Aug. 15. A contractor crew will work on a 15-mile segment of Highway 371 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Motorists can expect traffic interference on three-mile segments at a time.
Within the moving work zone, crews using flags and a pilot car will control traffic. Drivers will take turns using the open lane in alternating directions. Motorists should plan for minor delays and reduced speeds through the work zone area.
Trucks also will be hauling material throughout the Highway 371 corridor. Motorists should watch for trucks turning on and off the roadway.
