Weightlifing contest Saturday at Nisswa

The ninth annual Crazy Daze Weightlifting Championship is scheduled noon Saturday at Nisswa.
The event will be conducted behind the chamber of commerce on the turtle race track.
Entry fee is $20. Lifts will include the snatch and the clean and jerk. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age groups.

Crosslake Dam Run conducted
Kenny Miller of Park Rapids and Stephanie Hess of Illinois won the 21st annual Crosslake 10-kilometer Dam Run Aug. 3.
Miller paced the men's division with a time of 34:32. Hess won the women's division with a time of 47:06. Sixty-one runners competed.
