Special delivery courtesy of Co. B

The heavy equipment tractor trailers of the 434th Main Support Battalion's Co. B typically haul equipment around the state, so drivers in Minnesota may have done a double-take on a few occasions this summer.

Rather than a Bradley fighting vehicle or armed personnel carrier, soldiers had the opportunity to haul something considerably more special.

The soldiers brought furniture to Red Lake from the Grand Forks (N.D.) Air Force Base and hauled Girl Scout cookies to be delivered to troops overseas. The mission everyone was abuzz about and anxious to participate in, however, involved a playhouse. This wasn't an ordinary playhouse, either. It was built by SeaBees at the Minnesota Naval Reserve Center for a young girl with leukemia.

The house stood 11- by 12- by 12.5-feet and was a wish come true for Caylee Huber of LeSueur. Caylee's request came through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the soldiers of Co. B were more than happy to help make her wish come true.
