The Brainerd Mighty Gulls of the Northwoods League announced two schedule changes this week.
Today at 6:05 p.m. at Mills Field, the Mighty Gulls will complete a game against Mankato that was suspended June 19 because of rain in the fifth inning. The regularly scheduled game will begin immediately after the conclusion of the suspended game.
Wednesday's game at Mills Field against Alexandria will begin at 7:05 p.m., not 4:05 p.m. as was listed in the pocket schedule.
Also, Mighty Gulls playoff tickets are on sale at all remaining home games during the regular season or at the Gulls' office from 2 to 6 p.m. daily. Prices are $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and children under 14 and $15 for the Fox Sports Deck (limited to 120 people per game) The first playoff game will be Aug. 14 at Mills Field.

Softball tournament at Staples next weekend
The second annual Mid-Minnesota softball tournament for Class D and E teams is scheduled Saturday and Sunday at the Dower Lake complex in Staples.
Fee for the 12-team tournament is $110. The event is a tuneup for the Class D district tournament. Teams are guaranteed four games. Class D District rules apply.
