Brainerd area men eye Lakes Area Guys Network for youth

Men in the Brainerd lakes area are invited to a conversation about establishing a Lakes Area Guys Association. The meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Brainerd Public Library.

This conversation is being sponsored by a number of groups in the area that see the need for good men to connect with young males in the community. The intention of the association is to do this through shared activities, sports and sporting outings and public service projects.

Men who have interest in the idea, or have a skill or interest to share with young men or who are ready to give back to the community are invited to attend.
