Rita (Conroy) Cronquist
Rita Kay (Conroy) Cronquist, age 37, resident of rural Brainerd, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2005, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Rita was born Aug. 28, 1967, in St. Cloud to Leo and Jaclyn (Nutter) Conroy. She graduated from Sauk Rapids High School and St. Cloud Vo-Tech where she studied as a chef. She worked in various cooking-related jobs in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud and the Brainerd area.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin; sons, Justin and Tyler, both at home; her parents, Leo and Jaclyn Conroy; sisters, Marian Fitzsimmons, Gail (Butch) Behrend, Lynn (Mike) Bangen, Annette (Jamee) Holmgren, Janet Conroy, Margaret Becker; brothers, Timothy (Mary) Conroy, Thomas (Janell) Conroy; 32 nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Milan and Marge Cronquist and Nancy and Dick Borsan; and brothers-in-law, Adam and Arin.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Ella Nutter and John and Lenore Conroy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at St. Francis Catholic Church (Ninth and Juniper Avenue Northeast) in Brainerd. Burial will be in Pine Tree Cemetery in Daggett Brook Township. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
