The Brainerd Warriors football staff will conduct two camps this week.

Students entering grades 6-7 will have a camp Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Forestview Middle School field in Baxter. Participants should wear shorts and T-shirts. Cost is $10.

A camp for students entering grades 4-5 is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Forestview.Participants should wear shorts and T-shirt. This camp is free. T-shirt is included.

Bzdok golf tourney Friday at Eagle's

Donna Bzdok's "Believe Always" Golf Tournament is scheduled at 1 p.m. friday at Eagle's Landing Golf Club on Higway 371 South in Fort Ripley.

Teams should register by Wednesday. You may also register for meal-only tickets by Wednesdady.

Call Eagle's Landing (866) 632-5721 to register four-person teams or individually ($400 per team, $100 per individual) or to register for meal-only tickets ($25).

Registration and pictures begin at 11 a.m., golf starts at 1 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. A raffle begins at 7:15 p.m.

Boat owners needed for fishing event

Brainerd Lakes Fishing Has No Boundaries needs boat captains for its fifth annual event Aug. 25.

Fishing takes place on Gull and Sylvan lakes. With 117 anglers expected, there's a need for boat captains. Special fishing expertise is not required of a boat captain.

FHNB has fishing gear and life jackets available for use. Local fishing experts are part of the organization and will point out locations to catch fish.
