Tickets are now on sale for the annual production of "Geritol Frolics," featuring songs, dances and comedy by performers 55 and older.
The show will be staged 7 p.m. Sept. 29, Oct. 1 and Oct. 7-8, with matinees 2:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 2, 6 and 9 at the Franklin Junior High School auditorium in Brainerd.
Tickets, priced at $10 for reserved seating and $12 for premium reserved seating, are available at the Washington Educational Services Building box office or by calling 822-6929 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Tickets also will be available at the door.

Cheney paintings on display
Paintings by Karen Cheney will be on display through Sept. 29 at the Brainerd Public Library. The exhibit is presented by the Encore Arts Club.
Choral singing is among the elements of the annual "Geritol Frolics" variety show.
Cheney specializes in painting miniatures, often using leaves as her canvas. Her work has been exhibited throughout Minnesota and Texas and she is active with several arts organizations.
Clines to perform in Staples
STAPLES -- The Clines, a gospel and Christian contemporary group from rural Browerville, will perform 7 p.m. Sunday in the Northern Pacific Park in Staples as part of the Music in the Park series.
Admission is free.
The Clines, known for their vocal harmonies, plan to release their first CD early next year.
The concerts will run through Aug. 21.
Taylor to present organ recital
NISSWA -- Cathy Taylor will perform noon Wednesday at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa as part of the summer organ recital series.
Miniature paintings by Karen Cheney will be featured through Sept. 29 at the Encore Arts Club's exhibit at the Brainerd Public Library.
Admission is free; freewill offerings will be accepted.
Taylor has been the organist at Lutheran Church of the Cross for 18 years. She is a Concordia College (Moorhead) graduate with majors in voice and piano.
Taylor is also a member of the church's Senior Choir, the director of various children's choirs and the accompanist for the Brainerd High School Choir. She teaches voice and piano lessons from her home.
