EAGAN -- Melissa Anne Kaesemacher, 15, of Eagan, Minn., died July 13, 2004, at St. Paul Children's Hospital due to complications from her lifelong illness of Lissencephaly.
She was born Sept. 16, 1988, at Fort Riley, Kan., to Mark and Jean (Wilson) Kaesemacher. She spent her pre-school and early elementary years in Brainerd where she attended Garfield Elementary and her later elementary, middle school and high school years in Eagan. Melissa spent a lot of time in the Aitkin area visiting her grandparents.
A memorial service was held July 18 at Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor with Father John Fleischhacher officiating. Barb Konsor was the pianist. Robby Wilson (cousin) was the soloist. Interment will be in the Fleming Cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Jean; sister, Alecia; and brother, Eric.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, LeRoy and Janice Wilson; aunt, Vicky Peterson; grandfather, Herman Kaesemacher; and cousin, Adam Kaesemacher.
