Weightlifting competition Aug. 14
The 11th annual Nisswa Crazy Days weightlifting championships is scheduled noon Aug. 14 at the American Legion in Nisswa.
The competition will include Olympic lifts like the snatch and clean and jerk.

Coborn's team captures rookie league title
Coborn's of Little Falls captured the Junior Victory Rookie League fourth- and fifth-grade championship, finishing with an overall record of 14-4.
Coborn's outscored its opponents 162-56.
Team members included Michael Anderson, Derek Derosier, Adam Grams, Aaron Hallberg, Joe Kula, Matt MacKissock, Bryan Majerus, Matt Messerschmidt, Devin Okerman, Levi Pelzer, Jonathon Slimmer, Kyle Swanson, and Mitchell Waldvogel.
Head coach is Mike Kaluza. Assistants are Glen Pelzer and Steve Messerschmidt.
