Man waving fake gun from vehicle ticketed for disorderly conduct
A 19-year-old Brainerd man was given a citation for disorderly conduct after he was waving a fake handgun at people from his vehicle.
Brainerd police officers stopped the man's vehicle without incident about 3:50 p.m. in northeast Brainerd. He was issued a citation and released, Police Chief John Bolduc said.
Bolduc described the gun as a plastic toy gun.
"Any action like this that causes alarm in the public is unwise and is in fact a violation of state law," Bolduc said.
