AUG 2 - 20 years ago (1984) - The hulks of wrecked locomotives presented a sad sight this week in the Brainerd salvage yard of the Burlington Northern Railroad. The engines, remnants of the head-on crash near Motley, were destined for the scrap heap.

Funeral services for Dorothy Kazeck will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie with Rev. William Postel officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Swanville, Minn. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie. Arrangements are with the Shelley-Gibson Funeral Chapel in Swanville.
