BAXTER -- Roderick Donald Keith, 87, Baxter, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at home.
He was born Dec. 27, 1913, in Fargo, N.D., to Donald and Jorgina (Eggvm) Keith. He graduated from Fargo. He received his pharmacy degree from North Dakota State University. He entered the Navy and served in the South Pacific during World War II. After his discharge, he worked as a pharmacist for the Osco Pharmacy in Terre Haute, Ind., Rochester, St. Cloud, Fargo and Brainerd. He moved to Brainerd in the mid 1950s. He owned and operated Keith Drug and Keith Pharmacy Stores and Pharmacies. Following his retirement, he worked for the St. Joseph hospital pharmacy part time. He was a member of the Brainerd Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He taught defensive driving for the elderly.
Survivors include four nephews.
Two sisters, Maxine Otis and Mazie Pederson, died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with the Rev. Dave Greavor officiating.
