About 30 people with 15 canoes will head down the Crow Wing River on Sept. 21-23 for the eighth annual Canoe with Confidence.
The event is to raise funds for programs at Camp Confidence, and the goal is $10,000. Each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $300 through pledges. The money raised through pledges and sponsors will be used for the ongoing support of outdoor education and recreation for people with development disabilities.
There are a few openings and people with development disabilities and others are urged to be part of the outing. For more information call the camp at 828-2344.
