Kathleen Gronvold

PINE RIVER -- Kathleen Gronvold, 88, Pine River, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at home.

She was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Manitoba, Canada, to Alfred and Jennie (Brown) Hawley. She married Kaare Gronvold on Dec. 31, 1941, in Minneapolis.

Survivors include two daughters, Corrine Gronvold, Minneapolis, and Carolyn Farley, Maple Plain; and two grandchildren.

Her husband; a son, Lance; and a brother died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church of Pine River with the Rev. John Twiton officiating. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Friends may call an hour before services Thursday at the church. There will also be a time of fellowship from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Messiah Methodist Church of Plymouth.
