WADENA -- Spaces are still available in the Madhatter Community Theater Summer Drama Camp at Memorial Auditorium in Wadena.
The day camp is for students ages 9-18 and will be held Aug. 5-9 and 12-16. Ages 9-12 will attend the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. session while ages 13-18 will attend the 2 to 5:30 p.m. session.
Students will present a showcase performance at 7 p.m. Aug. 16. Robin Jensen, a faculty member of the University of Vermont theater department, will direct the day camp's "Follow the Yellow Brick Road."
Cost of the day camp is $85. There are still some scholarships available for students who need financial assistance.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council and the Minnesota state Legislature. The Madhatters Community Theatre Group is a nonprofit group that will celebrate its 50th anniversary next spring by producing the musical "The Wizard of Oz."
