Anastasia (Hannigan) Davis, 98, Brainerd, died Monday, July 30, 2001, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
She was born Jan. 1, 1903, in Le Center to Frederick and Margaret (Malloy) Hannigan. She attended school in Le Center. She married Royal Watt Davis on Feb. 14, 1923, in Le Center. They lived in Cleveland, Minn., until her husband's death when she moved to the Minneapolis area where she lived for a few years. She moved to Brainerd in 1981. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Cleveland for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Burnham, Bloomington, and JeNean Langford, Oja, Calif.; a sister, Silvernius Axline, Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, three brothers and two sisters died earlier.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland, Minn., with Father Glen Jenson officiating. Burial will be in the Savage Lake Cemetery in rural Cleveland. Memorials are preferred to the Church of the Nativity.
