GLYNDON -- Brainerd's Dave Mass and Justin Aylward finished first and second in the Wissota Super Stock feature at Buffalo River Speedway on July 23.
Aylward, who is 14th in Wissota Super Stock national points as of July 23, won his heat race and Mass, who was fourth in points, placed second.
On the same day at Bemidji Speedway, several Brainerd area racers captured the top four places in a Midwest Modified Feature. Craig Larson won, Luke Hines placed second, John Thompson placed third and Pete Hines placed fourth.
The day before at Princeton Speedway, Dan Yaunick of Brainerd collected a clean sweep (winning his heat and feature) in the Wissota Super Stock feature. Tim Johnson, Jr., placed fourth. As of July 23, Johnson was 20th in national points.
In the Midwest Modified feature, Nick Musel placed second, Luke Hines placed second in his heat and Larson placed first in his heat.
On July 20 at KRA Speedway in Willmar, Mass won the Wissota Super Stock feature and Yaunick was fourth.
In other racing news, John Franzen of Baxter was ninth in Wissota Championship Sprints points. Tony Norem, who won the Wissota Sprint Special at North Central Motor Speedway south of Brainerd last month, is the points leader.
In Wissota Street Stock national points, Charlie Beens of Emily is 29th and Brad Jensen of Brainerd is 30th.
