The FOX NEWS supporters must be very shocked by their admission to poor journalism in the Sherod debacle. They blew it again.

Moving wall

Congratulations and thank you to the Crosby Moving Wall Committee. My disgust is with the Vox Pop writer who wants to make another right wing Bible promotion issue. I was in Nam and it was an ugly war, not a religious war. The fighting, the conditions, the language, the killing, the pain experienced from all people and families is difficult to accept. The MIA's need to be honored and do not need to be in the middle of a political statement. I honor the efforts of the committee. I thank the committee and I regret that a probably uninvolved person tries to make the wall exhibit a political, religious issue. There is too much criticism of our leaders by those that are so uninvolved.

Why no scores?

Why is it that the Brainerd Rec. Summer Youth Sports scores are never in the paper?

I watched some amazing talent on the softball field this year, it should be known.

Those kids need a ego booster once in awhile.

Blame the dog owners or the dogs

In response to the lady that complained about the city workers not cleaning up the feces on the Lum Park Beach, it is not the responsibility of the city's workers to clean up the feces on the beach, but it is the responsibility of the dog owenrs to pick up after their own dogs.

Let's put the blame where it belongs. If dog owners cannot pick up after their own dogs they shouldn't have a dog.

Garage sales beware

To the two little old ladies that stole my son's yellow helmet and the box with the Christmas tree stand from the sale on Mill Ave. Gthursday morning, you're a class act, stealing from a 13-year-old. Hopefully you two can sleep at night. We know you drive a white four-door car. Please return.
