Four juveniles from Walker awaiting charges

WALKER - Charges are expected against four Walker boys involved in a series of incidents in the past month occurring just south of Walker, the Cass County Sheriff's Department reported.

The boys - two age 16, one 17 and the age on the fourth boy wasn't known - have been released to their parents awaiting charges.

The incidents were the theft of two four-wheelers taken from Forest View Inn on July 6; two golf carts stolen from Up North Equipment in mid June; an attempted robbery and damage to property at the Y Bottle Shop on July 13; and a burglary and damage to property at Charlie's Up North on July 13.

The four-wheelers and golf carts have been recovered.

Brainerd man charged with burglary in Pine River

PINE RIVER - An 18-year-old Brainerd man has been charged this week with two counts of first-degree burglary and charges also are expected against two 17-year-old Pine River boys involved in the incident, reported the Cass County Sheriff's Department.

The man charged was Bradley Huesmann.

It was reported that Huesmann and the two juveniles broke into a residence in the Pine River area and stole firearms. Most of the stolen property was recovered by county deputies and the Pine River Police Department.
