A Page 6A story in Sunday's Dispatch regarding a $50,000 grant for the proposed Milford Mine Memorial Park in Crosby incorrectly stated Dan Jordan was a member of the Iron Range Resources Board in Eveleth. Jordan is an employee of Iron Range Resources.

Also, the story incorrectly stated the 1924 Milford Mine disaster, in which 41 miners died, was the worst iron mine disaster in U.S. history at that time. The disaster was one of the worst in the U.S. at that time and is still the worst in Minnesota history.

The Dispatch regrets the errors.
