I want to commend Jenny Larson and those others who assisted her in saving the life of the cat. I definitely think we need more people like this and I think this woman deserves a great thank you.

Animal swap meets

Animal swap meets must end or at least be supervised by someone. If you've never been to one, it's a real sight, especially for animal lovers. Many animals are stuffed into cages that are too small, no water or food, left out in the hot sun with no shade. Most are dirty and not cared for. I've seen dead animals in cages with live ones. All these events do is encourage people who have no knowledge of animal care to raise too many animals for profit. Heartland Animal Rescue should be investigating these events.
