Dream time with a cash reward

An enterprising reader could earn $50 simply by describing their dream job.

The Dispatch is seeking reader submissions for the annual Labor Day Salute section. A sampling of responses will be published. The best one will gain greenbacks for the effort.

So if you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

For dwellers of office cubes, that should inspire a few thoughts. Maybe the roofer who dreads a hot August sun dreams of an air-conditioned inside lifestyle. Maybe the corporate worker would rather be leading an expedition in New Zealand. Maybe it's fighting malaria in Africa.

Paperback writer? Lead singer? Personal shopper?

Imagine your own dream job and getting paid for it.
