With a 29-11 victory over Deerwood Bank, Halverson Law Office strengthened its grip on the top spot in the Legacy men's league at Cragun's July 23.
Halverson has 319.5 points for the season and leads runner-up Thelen Heating by 14. Thelen moved into second place with a 23.5-16.5 win over US Bank.
Bremer Bank holds down third place with 299.5 points after a 28-16 win over Edward Jones, which slipped from second place last week to fourth.

Midway Park Bank's 9-3 win over Mills Motor vaulted it into first place in the Breezy Point Men's Twilight League July 23.
Midway has 21.5 points, overtaking last week's three leaders - Dockside, Mills Motor and Thomas and Associates.
Thomas and Associates is now second after defeating Dockside 7.5-4.5.
League play Thursday is on the Whitebirch front nine at 5:15 p.m.

The Whitefish Women's 18-Hole League played an alternate country game July 22 followed by the monthly meeting and luncheon.
In Flight A, Barb Holubar took first with a net 33. Linda Randall was second with 34. Betsy Otteson was third with 35.
In Flight B, Myra Faust took first with a net 32. Joan Kantos and Nancy Schmidt tied for second with 33.
Three was a 3-way tie for first in Flight C between Mary Boeder, Connie Foster and Sandra Pohl with net 34.
Marlys Guse scored the only birdie for the day, and it was a chip-in on No. 2.
Other chip-ins were recorded by Dorie Kaleva on No. 14, Diane Giefer on No. 2 and No. 14 and Joan Heuer.
On Wednesday, the league will have its member/guest tournament, which will have the Whitefish 5-0 theme. There will be games, prizes and raffles as well as a luncheon following the morning of golf.

Phyllis Anderson was first and Gloria Taylor second in the bingo, bango, bongo game July 23.
Barb Knutson had a chip-in on No. 5 and Gloria Taylor had the fewest putts.
