(Photos) Len Jensen, of Arlington, Va., snared this 5-14 largemouth bass using a frog in 12 feet of water on West Twin Lake. Dick Heltno, Bloomington, caught this 4-3 smallmouth on Whitefish Lake using a leech.

(Photo) Marie Congdon, 84, picks raspberries at her home on Route 2. A widow for 19 years, she has taken care of the berry patch by herself, including picking weeding and canning. Not bad for 84, says Congdon.

Telephone and power crews were struggling today to repair damage caused by widespread electrical and wind storms night before last and into yesterday. Hundreds of downed trees had workmen out all night on repairs.

Frank M. Caughey, one of the most prominent citizens of the town of Daggett Brook, died suddenly at a local hospital from a stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Caughey had been suffering from sciatica for some time but had been improving.
