Beginning late morning Wednesday, motorists traveling on the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 10 from east of the intersection with Highway 24 to just east of County Road 3 near Clear Lake will be directed onto the new eastbound concrete roadway.
All eastbound and westbound traffic will be traveling on the two eastbound lanes between Clear Lake and County Road 3, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
Motorists are advised to be alert and use extra caution at all intersecting county roads.
Once the traffic switch is completed, the detour on Highway 24 will be removed and the roadway will be opened to traffic.
Traffic will continue to use the eastbound lanes for about two months while construction crews complete the new concrete westbound roadway.
