Vehicle of missing Staples man found Saturday
STAPLES - The 1995 Chevrolet station wagon owned and driven by Peter Achermann, who was last seen Friday in Staples, was found early Saturday night in a rural area northeast of Staples, reported the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
Achermannn, 82, rural Staples, is still missing.

Authorities reported that an extensive air and ground search of the area where the vehicle was located was conducted Saturday and Sunday with searchers from the Motley and Staples Fire Departments, Central Lakes Search and Rescue, community volunteers, family members, Lakes Area Dive Team, law enforcement officers, Posse members from Cass and Wadena counties and aircraft from the State Patrol.
