George Carden Circus International will present Circus Fiesta 7:30 p.m. Friday and 3 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds in Brainerd. This marks the first stop in Brainerd for the troupe based out of Missouri.

Tickets, priced at $14 for adults, $10 for children and $7 for senior citizens, will be available at the gate. Also, coupons for free admission, cotton candy, pony rides and souvenirs can be found in the Friday Dispatch.

The show will feature the following acts:

* Elephants. The Asian elephants, perhaps the smartest pachyderms in the world, were born in the wild and have been trained since age 3. Their average age is about 40.

* The Golden Divas. These six young women from Kazakhstan are trained in acrobatics and aerial performance. They trained for several years in Europe before coming to the United States.

* Alberto Velencia. The sixth-generation circus performer specializes in juggling and is also the circus' ringmaster.

* The Torreblanca Family. The Chilean clowns are known for their contortions, flips, somersaults and headstands.

* The Marinof Duo. Giorgio and Luisa, a couple from Romania, are making their debut with Carden this year. They perform acrobatic maneuvers on an aerial cradle suspended high above the circus ring.

* Jeremy Hernandez. The juggler comes from a Costa Rican family of circus performers. He has lived in the United States for five years and has been juggling for three-and-a-half years. Hernandez is also experienced on the teeterboard, trampoline and Russian swing.

* The Cristian Troupe. The Colombian troupe of three men and one woman performs feats 30 feet above the ground without the use of a net. They have been performing together for 12 years.

* Kambarov Riders. This group of eight stallions and riders performs acrobatic stunts such as flips, plucking handkerchiefs from the ground and spinning under the horses' belly at high speed. Originally from Kygyzstan, the group has been performing in American circuses since 1991.
