WALKER -- The following recently appeared in Cass County Court:

James Alvin Kimbrough III, 25, Park Rapids, was sentenced for felony second-degree burglary to 44 days work release, fined $1,000, ordered to pay $1,066 restitution with his co-defendant and placed on five years supervised probation.

Cynthia Jean Morris, 42, Walker, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI and an amended disorderly conduct to 30 days jail and fined $700.

Scott Robert Mikkelson, 32, Walker and Akeley, was sentenced July 23 for a lesser included gross misdemeanor theft and an amended gross misdemeanor theft to 45 days work release, ordered to pay $564.99 restitution and placed on two years supervised probation.

Brian James Liimatta, 20, Walker, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor escape from custody to 30 days jail consecutive to other sentences he is serving.

Dennis Vane Houser, 55, Maple Lake, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor hunting under the influence of alcohol and DWI to pay a $240 probation fee, fined $1,000 and placed on two years supervised probation.

Kurt Alan Wicks, 43, Backus, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor interfering with an emergency call and fifth-degree assault to 11 days jail, fined $800 and placed on two years supervised probation.

Joseph Allen Sasse, 20, Pine River, was sentenced for a lesser included gross misdemeanor fourth-degree burglary to the balance after jail time served of 180 days on electronic monitoring at his own expense, fined $500 and placed on two years supervised probation.

William Allen Nierenhausen, 43, Aitkin, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor DWI to 120 days jail, ordered to pay a $1,000 DWI penalty and placed on four years supervised probation.

Levi Sloan Benson, 19, Motley, was sentenced for two felony third-degree burglary counts to pay $500 cost of prosecution and $500 restitution with his co-defendant and placed on five years supervised probation.
