Success appears to be coming quickly to Brainerd's Junior College Community Summer Theatre which is not surprising to the hundreds of area residents who have seen productions directed by Robert Dryden.

Trophies for work in education and conservation were presented to the Carl Sidney Hanson American Legion Post No. 255 at the State Convention. Citations were presented to the local club for its work with the Brainerd School Patrol, Public Relations and Publicity, and all around Post activities.

Edith Carlson competes this evening in the Minneapolis Aquatennial Beauty Contest with 41 other Minnesota girls for the title of "Miss Aquatennial." Miss Carlson was selected to compete when she won the title of "Miss Brainerd Lake Region."

"Wife started housecleaning yet?"
