Three new agents -- Don Cervin, Cindy Johannessohn and Aaron Opatz -- joined Tower Real Estate located on Washington Street in Brainerd.

Cervin is specializing in lakeshore and residential properties. He was involved in specialty logging for the log furniture industry and worked on some lakeshore development.

Johannessohn moved to the lakes area in 1999. She worked with her husband to remodel and sell older homes for about 15 years. She spent eight years working in St. Paul Public Schools and three years in non-profit organizations working with families. Johannessohn specializes in residential and business properties.

Opatz has been an area resident for 30 years.

All are members of the National Association of Realtors, the Minnesota Association of Realtors and the Greater Lakes Association of Realtors.

Upcoming Home Stretch

class in Brainerd

The next Home Stretch series of classes will be set in Brainerd in October. Classes have area experts discuss home buying, mortgages, closing costs and home maintenance.

Classes are set for Oct. 12, 24 and 26. The classes begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mississippi Horizons. Attendance results in a certificate that can save home buyers fees when they contact area lenders.
