Fires

The Brainerd Fire Department at 5:01 p.m. Tuesday responded to a minivan fire on Highway 371 north of Baxter, near Crow Wing Cabinets.

The minivan was declared a total loss, the fire department reported.

Firefighters were called at 6:28 p.m. Monday to a residence in the 700 block of South Fifth Street and they were called Tuesday to Riverside Elementary School in Brainerd for what turned out to be false alarms.
