Betty D. Bartholomaus
CROSBY -- Betty D. Bartholomaus, of Crosby, formerly of Mora, Minn., died on Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 77 years old.
Betty was born on Oct. 26, 1927, to Arthur and Myrtle Norstrom in Mora, Minn. She attended school in Mora and then moved to Brainerd, Minn., in 1980. In 2002, she moved to Crosby, Minn., where she remained.
Betty enjoyed going for drives, collecting family pictures, making quilts and playing cards.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis Bartholomaus, of St. Cloud, and James Bartholomaus, (and wife Joanne Baier), of Crosby; daughter, Denise (Mark) Bina, of St. Cloud; brothers, Douglas (Diane) Norstrom, of Brainerd, and Donald (Irene) Norstrom, of Mora; sisters Ruth (Merle) Nelson, of Ogilvie, and Ebbie Norstrom, of Desert Palms, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Dresser-Methven Funeral Home in Mora with the Rev. Stephen Blenkush officiating. Music will be provided by Dan Nelson, Mike Nelson, Lynda Nelson, Mary Hernandea and Chuck Humphrey. Honorary casketbearers are Paul Bartholomaus, Keith Bartholomaus, Andy Bina and Merle Nelson.
