Jim Olsen to perform

Jim Olsen, based in Nashville, Tenn., will present a concert during worship services at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes.

Brothers, Sisters in Christ to return

The Brothers and Sisters in Christ musical ensemble from Bertha and Hewitt will provide music for the outdoor communion worship service Sunday at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Garrison. A potluck dinner, games and more music will follow the outdoor service.

Zion Lutheran youth

Youths from Zion Lutheran Church will lead the worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Jonathan Winterfeldt, pastor at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Cahokia, Ill. He is a former member of Zion and will lead the worship services Saturday and Sunday morning at the church. A potluck picnic will follow the worship service. Youths will provide sloppy joes and beverages. Bring a food dish to share.

'Kindred' team to perform

Our Savior's Lutheran Church will host "Kindred" at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 at the church's newly acquired Outreach Center on Brown Street, across from the main church building.
