County Club Estates once again took the lead in the Men's Twilight Golf League at Pine Meadows Thursday. With an 11-1 win over Cub Foods Country Club Estates moved ahead four spots to take the lead with 18.

Nancy Russell won the Longest putt contest in the Women's League Proximities game at Pine Meadows.
Merrily Monda was the closest to the pin. While Wendy Tanner had the longest drive for 0-12 handicap and Ardell Cook had the longest drive for 12 and over handicaps
Merrily Monda and Sandy O'Day got Birdies and the DQA went to Myrna Hammer.

Chuck and Sandy O'Day teamed with Neal and Doris Moede to take first place of the Couples Night's foursome Poker game at Pine Meadows Friday.
The score of 46 was good enough for a five shot win over second place finishers Al and Sylvia Schmitt and Dick and Ardell Cook who shot a 51. Third place went to Bud and Marion Willis and Rusty and Edie Ramp who shot a 54.
Sharon Engman of St. Cloud used a 6-iron to knock in a 127-yard hole in one at Grand View Lodge's Preserve course Friday.
Birch Bay results
Marty Peterson chipped within 18 inches from cup at the Birch Bay League, July 17. On, July 19 in the Bingo Bango Bongo game two-some winner was Joann Vanthoff of Merrifield with 14 points. Ginny Pierce of Nisswa won the foursome category.
Hot Shot Tournament scheduled
Cragun's Legacy Golf course is the site of the seventh annual Alpha 1 Association Hot Shots Golf Tournament to be held Sunday, August 13.
The Hot Shot golf benefit is a shotgun start, four person scramble tournament with a tee time at 1 p.m.
The $125 registration fee includes green fees, golf cart rental, driving range, reception and awards banquet.

Bay Lake Area Lions tournament results
Jim Barrut, Brandon Turk, Tom Heglund and Bart Johnson took top honors of the men's team competition at the Bay Lake Area Lions golf scramble.
Mixed winners were Sharon Pearson, Ron Pearson, Russ Swanson and Rob Frahm.
Closest to the pin were Steve Holmvig, Gary Johnson, and Gordon Schmidt. Bud Lound sank the longest putt. Chuck Barnum and Rene Northway won the men's and women's long drive contest.
Proceeds go to college scholarships.
Israelson finishes fifth
Vintage Golf Professional Bill Israelson finished fifth with a three day total of 208 at the 2000 Best Buy Minnesota State Open at Bunker Hills Golf Club Sunday.
Israelson who had a first round lead shot rounds of 67-71-70. The winner of the tournament was amateur Ben Meyers of the University Golf Club who shot a 206.
Jesse Hirdler of Legacy at Cragun's and Guy Strandemo of Tianna Country Club are two of 77 golfers that will battle for the 100th USGA Amateur Championship. This Qualifying round will be played at Northland Country Club in Duluth Monday, July 31.
