Master gardeners to be at Crow Wing County Fair
Master gardeners will staff a booth during the Crow Wing County Fair, which begins Tuesday.
Master gardeners will be in the Horticulture Building to answer gardening questions. Information about the master gardener program and how to become a member also will be available.
Bi-CAP offering home buyers workshop in August
BEMIDJI - Bi-County Community Action Programs Inc. is offering a home buyers workshop Aug. 5, 7 and 12 in Bemidji.
Bi-CAP is a non-profit organization that provides various support programs to Beltrami and Cass counties. The workshop will teach attendees what they need to know to be more confident home buyer, and they'll learn what current loans and assistance programs are available.
The workshop is $25 per household and applications must be in by Aug. 4. Applications are available at the Bi-CAP office or by calling Teri Morrison at (218) 333-9867 or (800) 332-7161, ext. 143.
Keller Williams agents receive training
BAXTER - Keller Williams Realty Brainerd Lakes recently hosted a listing clinic "The Best Listing You've Ever Taken," facilitated by Todd Butzer, regional director of Keller Williams Realty North Central Region.
Butzer provided agents with a step-by-step process for delivering exceptional service to sellers. The class detailed the pre-listing process, tips for providing superior service after a listing has been secured and the importance of agents being up to date on current market statistics and trends.

Bruce has more than 25 years of experience in sales, customer service, management and administration in the telecommunications industry. She also has accounting and administration experience from working for a non-profit.
Bruce has a degree in organizational communications/professional communications.
